The Young Eagles program was founded in 1992 by the Experimental Aircraft Association as a way to introduce young people to the fun and convenience of personal aviation. The goal of the Young Eagles program is give girls and boys between the ages of 8 and 17 the opportunity to experience what it's like to fly in a small personal airplane. Since that time more then 2,000,000 Young Eagles have received a free airplane ride.
The members of the Quakertown Pilots Association would like to invite all kids, and their parents, to join us for a flight at Quakertown Airport. Again, this program is for young people between the ages of 8 and 17 and it is completely free of charge. The pilots donate their time and aircraft. Currently Young Eagle flights are scheduled on the second Saturday of each month at Quakertown Airport.
